Amplify Earns Two Finalist Nominations in the 2026 Wealthies: AI-Native Data Lake, and CTO David Hatfield
Two Finalist Nominations, One Connected Data Story
Amplify has been named a finalist in two categories of the 2026 Wealth Management Industry Awards—the Wealthies—produced by WealthManagement.com. CTO David Hatfield has been recognized as a Chief Technology Officer of the Year finalist, and Amplify’s AI-Native Data Lake has been named a finalist in the Data Lakes/Warehouses category. Winners will be announced at the awards gala in New York City on September 10, 2026.
The two recognitions reflect the same architectural conviction. Eight years ago, David established a governed data model as Amplify’s foundation—one definition of every core entity, account, household, client, and position, standardized at the transactional layer before a single application was built on top. That decision created a single source of truth across the platform and made possible Amplify’s AI-native data lake, which was fully implemented in December 2025.
The data lake wasn’t built as a feature or bolt-on. Because the underlying data was already clean and governed, Amplify clients operate on a dedicated, single-tenant lake from day one—at no charge to build or maintain—with full ownership of their data including derived analytics and AI outputs.
Amplify currently supports $24.5 billion in assets on platform across 655 advisors and 39,528 client households. To learn more about Amplify’s connected data operating platform for RIAs, visit the What We Do page.
